As part of the "CALA Fall 2017 Film Series—Lights, Camera, Deco!," the NYU Center for Applied Liberal Arts and Deutsches Haus at NYU present the 1932 American pre-Code Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer drama film “Grand Hotel," directed by Edmund Goulding, starring Greta Garbo and John Barrymore. The screenplay by William A.
