Visual Images and Politics in the Post-Yugoslav World

A talk by Mitja Velikonja, professor at the University of Ljubljana, and Aleksandar Bošković, lecturer in Columbia’s Slavic Department.
Professor Velikonja will present a paper on “Yugoslavia after Yugoslavia: Graffiti about Yugoslavia in Post-Yugoslav Urbanscape.”
Aleksandar Boškovic will discuss “Yugonostalgia and Retro-garde: Lexicon of Yu Mythology and MSK.
