Three Centuries of Swedish Music with Per Tengstrand

Pianist Per Tengstrand performs Swedish music from the eighteenth through the twenty-first centuries, intertwined with more known composers whose music inspired the Swedish works. This concert is co-presented with the Morgan Library and coincides with the Morgan’s exhibition Treasures from the Nationalmuseum, Sweden: The Collections of Count Tessin.

The exhibition will open at 6:30 PM for concert attendees.

Brahms, Three Intermezzi Op. 117
Wilhelm Stenhammar, Fantasy in B minor Op. 11
Albert Schnelzer, Dance with the Devil
Liszt, “Après une lecture du Dante – Fantasia Quasi Sonata
