Wednesday, September 28, 2016 @ 12:00 pm5:00 pm

Please join us for a talk with Enver Hoxhaj, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo.

Enver Hoxhaj has been one of the most active politicians in Kosovo during the last ten years. He has served as Minister of Foreign Affairs since 2011, and has played a central role in the consolidation and strengthening of Kosovo’s bilateral and multilateral diplomacy.

Previously Hoxhaj served as Minister of Education from 2008 to 2011, facilitating the post-independence education modernization process, and serving as a deputy in four legislatures. He was Head of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Policy from 2014 to 2016.

Hoxhaj was a member of the Kosovo delegation participating in the talks on the final status of Kosovo from 2005 to 2007, led by Special Envoy of the UN, the President Martti Ahtisaari. The Ahtisaari document resulted in the comprehensive proposal for Kosovo’s independence.
