“Religion, Secularism and Constitutional Democracy”

Monday, February 1, 2016 @ 6:00 pm8:00 pm

Come hear Jean Cohen talk about the book she co-edited with Cécile Laborde on “Religion, Secularism and Constitutional Democracy.” With the days before the US presidential election ticking by, and religious tension on the rise in Europe for oh so many reasons, the publication of this book could hardly seem better timed, right?

The conversation will bounce around between Cohen and four other Columbia professors including Adam Tooze, Courtney Bender, Jeremy Kessler and Rosalind Morris.

Read about the book at the Columbia University press website. Paperback copies $40.
