Spend the afternoon at Scandinavia House exploring the exhibition Painting Tranquility: Masterworks by Vilhelm Hammershøi from SMK – The National Gallery of Denmark. Drawn from the extensive collection of SMK, the exhibition features a wide selection of masterpieces from one of Denmark’s most celebrated painters of the modern era.

Visitors explore and learn about Vilhelm Hammershøi’s background, sources of inspiration, and unique aesthetic. These 35-minute public tours meet in the Gallery elevator lobby.
