During World War 2, on the island of Ventotene, Altiero Spinelli, Ernesto Rossi and Eugenio Colorni conceive an alternative future, one of peace and collaboration between the nations. So is born the Ventotene Manifesto, a project of a free and united Europe.
An Homage to Altiero Spinelli, one of the European Union’s founding fathers, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of his death.
This event is part of Italy on Screen Today – New York #Wind of Europe Project# in collaboration with the Ventotene Film Festival. Made possible by the Ministero per i Beni e Attività Culturali e del Turismo, SIAE, and under the auspices of the European Parliament.
