[2nd Floor] Lecture and discussion with Ivo Svejkovský, the Head of International Cooperation at the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences. How can our society benefit from the results of the scientific research
Ivo Svejkovsky will introduce the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences (FZU). Emphasis will be put on actual examples of how society can benefit from the results of the institute’s scientific research, on the most up-to-date research directions, current collaboration with US institutions and other opportunities of collaboration. He will also deal with the need for targeted building of the positive image of scientific institutions among the general public, stakeholders, other research institutions and political representation at national and international levels.
Ivo Svejkovsky is the Head of International Cooperation at the FZU. He has long-term experience in issues of international scientific cooperation, science communication and building of imaginary bridges between scientific institutions, the public, industry and politics.
