Please join the Harriman Institute and Eurasianet for a discussion of the political dimensions of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh—the new regional dynamics, media coverage and information wars, and its impact on domestic politics—with Joshua Kucera, a leading correspondent of Eurasianet, and Professor Julie George, our faculty expert on the Caucasus.

Julie George is Associate Professor of Political Science at Queens College and The Graduate Center at the City University of New York. Dr. George has published extensively on ethnic politics and its role in regime- and state-building in former Soviet states, particularly in the Caucasus.

Joshua Kucera has been Caucasus editor at Eurasianet since 2016 and has extensively covered the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict as a journalist. He is based in Tbilisi.
