For the first time in New York, the Garden State Philharmonic will perform the compositions of Aldo Finzi, a talented Jewish composer born in 1897 in Milan, Italy, whose brilliant career was interrupted during the Racial Laws of 1938. He died in 1945 while hiding from the Nazis in Turin.
