The fourth Adventure in Italian Opera with Fred Plotkin of this season features Diana Damrau, a beloved coloratura soprano and one of the opera world’s most in-demand artists. She excels in the music of Mozart, Verdi, Massenet, Rossini, Bellini and Donizetti and will appear this season at the Met as Juliette in a new production of Roméo et Juliette and as Elvira in I Puritani.
