October 19 @ 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Minister Franceschini’s conversation with Professor Freedberg will focus on Italy’s leading role in global cultural conservation and on the culture and tourism ministry’s initiatives in international relations. His second talk, with Mr. Disegni, will be a preview of the museum of Italian Judaism, to open in Ferrara on December 13, which will showcase the vast patrimony of ideas, artifacts, and cultural exchange produced in Italy by the Jews over more than two millennia. (See here for a news article on the museum and the Ministry’s connection to it.)
