Hélène Miard-Delacroix’s recently published biography, Willy Brandt: Life of a Statesman (I.B.Tauris, 2016), provides new perspectives on one of the leading statesmen of the twentieth century.
We would like to discuss Willy Brandt’s legacy in the broader context of his influence on a new political culture along with societal change and the rise of civil rights movements. We have invited the author Hélène Miard-Delacroix and two expert speakers who will comment on Willy Brandt from personal experience with the politician and jointly explore the current political culture and societal change.
From Goethe Institut New York. No RSVP is necessary.
