Pm_1510862923.jpgPietro Mascagni (1863-1945) is the well-known composer of Cavalleria Rusticana, but his list of compositions is much longer, and includes 14 operas and the some early film scores. Beyond his work as a composer, he was also a “fashion trend setter,” as can be admired in this Capsule Collection.

This event will feature the screening of the short documentary Pietro Mascagni, a Life in Music (33 min.), followed by a conversation with Francesca Albertini Mascagni (V. Presidente Esecutivo, Comitato Promotore Maestro Pietro Mascagni), moderated by Grazia d’Annunzio (US Special Projects Editor, Vogue Italia).

In collaboration with the Comitato Promotore Maestro Pietro Mascagni, founded by the Mascagni family.

From Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò.
